Language: classes are conducted in English.
Location: classes and guest lectures take place on the Carreire and Talence campus sites of the University of Bordeaux.
Application deadline: April 30th, 2019.
Grants: grants may be awarded to applicants from developing countries. A cover letter is necessary to apply.

Course n°1 - Advanced R: tools for development & performance (HEAVYR)

  Dates: May 20th – May 21st, 2019
Participant profile: working knowledge of R is necessary. Participants must know how to write simple functions, and must be familiar with the concept of R package. This course is not suitable for R beginners.
Participation fee: 300€ for individual participants, 600€ for institutional participants.

Course n°2 - Web-based data processing & analysis (WEBDATA)

Dates: May 20th – May 23rd, 2019
Participant profile: programming skills and data management ability is obligatory.
Participation fee: 600€ for individual participants, 1,200€ for institutional participants.

Course n°3 - Statistical analysis of big data in systems immunology (SYSTIMMUN)

Dates: May 20th – May 24th, 2019
Participant profile: experience in immunology and data analysis (PCA, regression analysis, R software) is welcome.
Participation fee: 750€ for individual participants, 1,500€ for institutional participants.

Course n°4 - Introduction to Bayesian analysis (INBAY)

Dates: May 22nd – May 23rd, 2019
Participant profile: experience in statistical inference (likelihood maximization, hypothesis testing, linear regression, etc.).
Participation fee: 300€ for individual participants, 600€ for institutional participants.

Course n°5 - Measurement and analysis of cost-effectiveness data (COST)

Dates: June 4th – June 5th, 2019
Participant profile: participants with an interest in learning about analyses of cost-effectiveness data.
Participation fee: 300€ for individual participants, 600€ for institutional participants.

Course n°6 - Digital health communication (DIGICOM)

Dates: June 13th - June 14th, 2019
Participant profile: participants with an interest in health communication.
Participation fee: 300€ for individual participants, 600€ for institutional participants.

Course n°7 - Basics in data science with R (BADAS)

Date: June 17th, 2019
Participant profile: working knowledge of R is necessary. Participants must know how to write simple functions, and must be familiar with the concept of R package. This course is not suitable for R beginners.
Participation fee: 150€ for individual participants, 300€ for institutional participants.

Course n°8 - Joint models for time-to-events and longitudinal markers (JOINTMOD)

Dates: June 26th - June 28th, 2019
Participant profile: participants must have knowledge and practice of mixed models and standard time-to-event analyses. Working knowledge of R is also necessary.
Participation fee: 450€ for individual participants, 900€ for institutional participants.
