Bordeaux School of Public Health (ISPED) extends its summer school program by launching international courses. The International Summer School of Bordeaux school of public health provides short courses covering topics around population health studies. The School is supported by the Excellence Initiative (IdEx Bordeaux) of the University of Bordeaux
The program will be held from July 3rd to July 11th 2017 in Bordeaux, France. It covers important and innovative methodological aspects of population health studies and their communication, through formal lectures and practical demonstrations.
The courses are designed for scientists, health professionals, post-doctoral fellows, students and others who are interested in population studies, prevention, public health, statistical methods, big data, health policy, and health communication.
In this first edition, we offer 3 courses:
- Statistical analysis of big data in systems immunology
- Health Communication
- The Social inequalities and health

The summer school will gather faculty people from ISPED as well as internationally renowned experts in population health studies, biostatistics, social determinants of health, health communication and will be a unique opportunity to learn cutting edge research methods and to have interactions with renowned international experts
